"I’ve worked with Chew Bittel on two separate occasions - once on my historic home and recently on my newer home. My first experience working with Ed was such a pleasure. I was a new homeowner who bought a house built in 1857 that had the original standing seam roof. Ed was patient, informative, and thorough, and the crew restored it to its former glory. Fast forward to this week… I relocated to a more modern home and noticed several points of water entry around the house. Every single one of the local siding contractors wanted nothing to do with small repairs - they all tried to sell me $50,000 worth of new siding. Thinking that Chew Bittel wouldn’t travel all the way to my new location, I crossed my fingers and called Ed who remembered exactly who I was, and he came right out. The crew repaired the issues at an incredibly fair price and even returned after the work was done to touch up a spot or two. Chew Bittel’s level of commitment to their clients is unparalleled and I couldn’t be more thankful for their help. You have a client for life. Thank you to Ed, Tiffany, and the rest of the Chew Bittel family!!"

"Ed and his staff were wonderful to work with - always responsive and more than fair. I would highly recommend this business - great company to deal with!"

"Fantastic company. Responsive, kind, affordable, and best off all... top-quality work! We needed a new roof and gutters badly, and they did the job--and a great one at that--in less than two days. Chris even threw in some free spackling for us! Can't recommend them highly enough."

"I have used Chew Bittel multiple times. Roof, siding, windows, etc. Ed Herbst was the reason I kept coming back. I was disappointed to hear they closed shop in November 2024 so I went about looking for Ed. He is now at Viking Exteriors in Warminster. I am happy to be able to work with him again."

"I worked with Chew Bittel Associates on two different exterior renovation projects, and both times my point of contact was Ed Herbst. Ed was always responsive, knowledgeable, and great to work with. Last fall, I tried reaching out to Chew Bittel again only to find that the company had shut down and their phone number had been sold to another contractor. After some digging, I connected with Ed who is now the General Manager at Viking Exteriors in Ivyland, PA."

"I found a roof tile on my yard and called Chew Bittel to inspect my roof. The only problem they found was 2 tiles had come off. They said it was a quick fix with no charge! No one does that today!!!! I currently am looking to use them for several home projects."

"They were very professional from the first phone call. I was very pleased with the service and timely manner in which they repaired the roof. The best part no leaks"

"Ed was prompt and professional. He carefully explained everything to me. He and his guys were timely and his guys even replaced a few shingles on our roof even though they were there to replace a fan. Will definitely work with them again in the future!"

"I had a minor roof leak I noticed after a storm. They were able to come out for the inspection quickly. Then they were able to come out and repair the roof 2 days later. All in all took 4 days from when I called. Excellent service and responsiveness. Highly recommended!"

"Chew Bittel installed new siding and a portico for us. The craftsmanship is impeccable and gorgeous. The crew was friendly, reliable, and responsive to our questions and requests. We are beyond pleased with our house’s extreme makeover!"

"We had leak in 30 year old roof that got worse over 3 months before we called ChewBittell. They came out immediately and gave us all possible cost estimates, from roof replacement to simple repair. When they started work they discovered that we did not need new roof (yet). They installed/repaired the flashing and added new gutter pieces. Saved us a fortune and they were done in two days. Highly recommend them. And will use them again when we finally do need to replace our 30 year old roof. We had seen their work on other homes before selecting them. All good reviews"

"Great company and great service. Very pleased with my new roof!"

"I used Chew Bittel to do a roof replacement on my home. From the beginning they were professional and reliable. I feel I got a good deal and the roof looks great. Definitely call them if you have any issues with your roof. Theyve been in business a long time and are reputable."

"These guys did my roof and it went great. Arrived on time, professional, curtious. Cleaned up, not a mail to be found!"

"The new roof and gutters look great. Very professional and helpful."

"ChewBittel is a local roofing company and i would highly recommend them. From beginning to end they were professional and responsive and very accommodating. I dealt with the owner directly, got the estimate quickly, and it was competitively priced. i appreciated the attention to detail very much. The work was overseen by a foreman who was onsite the day of (between my house and another job) and the owner came over 2x as well. I am very happy with the work, and they are an Owens Corning preferred partner."

"Chew Bittel installed a new skylight in our townhouse in Yardley Corners. We have used Chew-Bittel for years with great results. The craftsmen were thorough, polite, and did great work. I recommend them and will use them for future projects."

"Just downright perfect customer service. The entire staff and Workforce were courteous kind and affordable. I shopped everywhere and I'm so pleased I went with this company!"
